SOPHIYA Was born in 1982, a dynamic and passionate entrepreneur and was raised by a single mother as her childhood with struggling of life. However with a desire to achieve something BIG and to become as SOPHIYA today, she thought to focus first on the education and learn something which can make her independent, lead and build her own EMPIRE.
SOPHIYA started with a humble beginning on bachelor of Financial & Banking at young age 17years old and Master’s in Business Management from Charle Sturt University, Australia.
SOPHIYA started her first job with travel & tours company while as student and moved to airline industry as Flight Attendant almost 10Years. With great opportunities in the industry allows her traveling around the world, meet many people by observing and seeing the world. The opportunity to interact with various people and see the world dynamics, which gave her enough confidence.
During as employee SOPHIYA started her own business in Tourism Industry; Travel, Tours, Spa & wellness and extended so many branches in town of Cambodia
More than 18 years now with various verticals and still she is continuing her passion to become one of the leading successful entrepreneurs in the country.
She also actively participates in Corporate Social Responsibility. She is actively engaged with Children Education, Empowering women and contribute to society as whole.
Apart from her busy schedule, she is involving and supporting a lots of activities through association to present Enterpreneur voice with for private section to government.
Currently SOPHIYA is Board Member of Cambodia Tourism Association “CATA” and has been nominated by Ministry of Women affairs as Advisor to the Board of Cambodia Women Entrepreneur Network to ASEAN “CAMWEN”.
With her passion for entrepreneurship and social activities SOPHIYA is key importance play roles, has been awarded and honoured with many awards locally, regionally, and internationally.
As now, SOPHIYA inspired by film industry and got an opportunity as main talent in the movie with Sastra Films Production “Weight of Love” – Life Film Drama.
The movie has inspired whole Cambodia and got tremendous appreciation in the international stage and for which recently received a film award in Hong Kong as “Most Recommended Life Film Award”.
